Artificial intelligence is rapidly integrating into EPIC and other electronic health records, reshaping how patients experience care. At the same time, social media has become a powerful space where patients, families, and clinicians share their hopes, concerns, and questions about AI in healthcare.
This session will explore how social media discussions can inform the design and implementation of AI tools in patient-facing care. We will examine how AI in EHRs can enhance care coordination, patient-provider communication, and access to services that address both medical and health-related social needs.
